Recorded with a tascam dr-1 looking south out of my garage between dallas and ft. Worth, here is 30 minutes of rain and intermittent distant thunder that grows increasingly heavy and then tapers off.

I heard a sound off to the right when i was recording some cat birds in the evening on 9/16/2020 in northeast ohio.

Crowd sounds during the annual arrival of the three kings in seville, spain. You can hear a little boy complaining that he's not getting any candy in spanish. You can also hear some other people talking and the sound of drums in the background.

Walking outside hearing screeching squirrels in the tree branches launched down at me in the evening.

Used a dropped bunch of blankets to mimic the sound of a bag being placed on someone's head.

A gathering of small birds chattering in a bush outside my house, chattering to each other. Some wind noise, wind chimes and (unfortunately) the vibration noise of the minidisc recorder drive spinning are all clearly audible at various points.

Sounds of birds singing in my back yard, recorded very early in the morning.

Sound of roofers stapling new roof shingles on a building a few hundred yards away. The stapling noise includes some slapback and natural reverberation due to the distance.

The recording isn't exactly 100% clean of ambient noises (i believe there's a door slam somewhere). But i manage to remove a couple of the more distracting noises.

A skateboard sckreeching.

Walking around outside on the campus of oak hill school in oregon. Stomping all over the place, so there's some grass crunching sounds and some birds tweeting.
